Me and my friends are travelling to Corfu next Tuesday. We are travelling from Skopje in Macedonia and we bought a bus ticket to Thessaloniki. What should we do next? I know that we need to take a bus to Igoumentisa and take take a ferry from Igoumenitsa to Corfu. After that we want to go to Kavos which I guess means that we should take another bus from Corfu city to Kavos... Me and a friend of mine are going to be backpacking part of the Appalachian Trail. We will be taking the train to Harper's Ferry Wv. From there I'm not very sure. Planning a trip to Stockholm: a few questions?

So my friend has an apartment in Hornstull, which is a neighborhood in the Western part of Sodermalm in Stockholm. His parents are picking us up from the airport, but they'll be staying at their country house there. We're in Stockholm for about nine days, but we were thinking about taking an overnight train to Copenhagen, Oslo, or Helsinki to stay for a bit while we're there. Which of these cities might be the best destination? I've heard that it would be Copenhagen, but I couldn't really say. We're looking to check out the city and get experience the local culture, as Stockholm is supposed to be the most museum dense city in the world. What are some interesting things to check out? I'll add that there are three of us going, and we're all 18; take that into account with respect to your suggestions, please, haha. We also want to check out some of the local nightlife, though to my understanding very little of it is open to people our age. Are there clubs and the like that would cater to us? If so, what would be the procedure for that? Finally, we have a pretty loose budget for the trip, so we can splurge a bit, but I'd rather not blow money on things that aren't worth it. How long does an apartment complex have to provide a previous tenant with a damage assessment?

A year and a half after I moved out of my apartment, I received a notice from the apartment complex stating that there were damages after I had left including broken blinds, leftover trash, and a missing gate key card. This is not correct. They are filing a collection on me and I'm not sure how to proceed from here other than paying it. Can they really try to pin this on me this long after I moved out?

Is there a way to prepare/ help my animals with my upcoming move?

I have a 2 (in july) year old beagle and 2 3 (also in july) year old cats. they have lived where we currently are since the dog was around 7 months and the cats about 1 and 1/2. I moved home with my parents a little over a year ago and now im ready to move in with my boyfriend. We got a 2 bedroom place (bottom floor of a house) it has a full basement spacious rooms and a porch in the front. plus an extra room in back that's not heated in the winter but still use-able. so its a good size but my parents (where i am now) have a huge house. 5 bedrooms 3 bath 2 living rooms 2 basements... huge!!! how will my animals adjust to the move? is there anything i can do to make it better for them? im going to baby gate the basement in the new place so the cats can have their own space away from the dog and it has a decent side yard. the cats tolerate the dog most the time but what wil happen when they have a smaller living space they will have to share? is there anything i can do to make the change easier on them? the place doesn't open up for a little over a month yet so im not moving till then but i want to have everything figured out before hand. I also want to know any advice about helping my dog. shes still young so she has tons of energy. i just don't want them to be stressed out. plus the new place is across town, if any of them get loose are they going to go straight back to my parents house???

You should definitely see the old town's of Tallinn,Vilnius and Riga. Riga is a better choice as there are much more tourist attractions like the occupation museum which is a must see. Generally just walk around the old town and you will be pleased. In latvia there are nice beaches in Jurmala, which is sea resort in latvia. You could take a boat ride across the river Daugava which is pretty nice. I can give you more information about Latvia than Estonia or Lithuania because i'm from latvia. Planning ahead... What to do when I go for University?

It's totally possible to keep a horse and go to college. I'm almost done and have managed to have 1-2 horses the entire 4 years. Definitely not easy as have to work to have money for the horses and find time to ride, go to class, study etc. But I do it and manage to get mostly A's too! I did say goodbye to a social life :) but for me totally worth it as I'm not a party girl anyway. I have learned to be very smart with money to make it all work. How the hell does he keep getting out?

My little gelding is about 14.1hh , he's is enclosed in a field with no trees, but he has a little shelter in the middle of the field, the ground is pretty much flat, the fencing has 2, 2" x 6" planks, one about a foot and a half off the ground and another about 5 feet off the ground with electric tape running through the middle of the two, I know for sure the fence is working I shocked myself the other day, -_- anyways every morning i come to check on him and he is about 30 from the fence on the OTHER side of the fence. Well sadly in this kind of situation all you can really do is pray there alright!! :'( I would go and search around your neighborhood to see if he is around there somewhere, most dogs don't tend to stray that far from there homes. Also if you normally walk your dog around a constant route, I would check that as well, my fox terrier got out once, and he came back an hour later from the same route I usually take to walk him!! :) If he got picked up by animal control they'll call you and tell you they have your dog, if he is still not home and you haven't gotten any information about him after three days I would put uposters around your neighborhood. If you don't speak Spanish, forget Miami. You will not get a job there and you will have difficulty with the people. San Francisco is very very expensive with the housing. The Parisians are nasty to Americans. Hong Kong is not a good city to be gay, there is a lot of prejudice there and it is part of Red China. Also, the housing is extremely expensive there. I love NYC and you can find relatively cheaper places to live. It is a very gay friendly town with laws to protect your rights and an endless stream of things to do. I do hope you plan on continuing your education wherever you go so finding the right college, even a community college, should be a big consideration and for that reason, I recommend the US, Canada or Israel. If you are from Tampa, you will freeze in Boston. It is really cold and you are not accustomed to that. it would be a big shock to you. London is great in the summer, but again you will be really cold there, Stockholm or Copenhagen in the winter. I like Amsterdam as a city, but again it is cold and you will want to finish your education. Going to college is also a great way to meet other people your age. San Juan is a Hispanic culture and they don't care for gays. With Tunis there is even more antigay sentiment. For the same reasons, forget about any place in South America.

Catching a stray/feral cat?

In my friends neighborhood, there are literally hundred of cats. She lives in a townhouse area, and the cats love to go into the crawl spaces, they live there. The cats will bathe in the sun on peoples porches during the day, and they are always really scared when approached. Except one cat, which is really more of a kitten, that just kinda walks away, he/she doesn't sprint away like the others. This cat, which I have personally named Henry, is skinny. What's odd about it is that the cats will sit on one persons porch, then when they get scared, they run around the edge of the building (the house that they lay on is the second to last house in the row of townhouses, so it isn't far) and into one of the back porch type areas. Every home has one, they are about jail cell sized and fenced in. The cats will run into the last house's (the last house in the row of houses, the neighbor to the house that the cats sit on) back porch type thing. If you look in the house that they ran to's back porch, you see a wide open crawl space. Anyway, they live there. There is about 3-4 cats that I have seen that live there. One, is, of course, Henry. He seems really nice, and you can tell that he most likely is a stray and not just a feral cat. For the last two days I've been chilling on the other side of the fence, waiting for a chance to catch him. Today I brought him some food, and stuck it threw the gate. The gate is locked, I have tried to open it...It doesn't budge. He'll just sit there and intently listen to my voice as I talk to him. Though he is still a little skeptical of me, you can tell, he is still better with me than I would imagine with anyone else. I want to catch him, for the fact that he in so skinny, and that he deserves a better life than to live in the wild. I read somewhere that wild cats only live for a maximum of 4 years. He will sit on the other side of the gate, in arms reach, you know, if the fence wasn't there. Today I nearly got him to eat out of my hand, before I just gave up and gave him the food threw the gate. I know that once my family, or Megans family, (my friend that lives in the townhouses) sees the cat, they'll immediately decide to keep it. They would never have the heart to just tell us to send it back to the wild. I understand that the cat could be dangerous, and I don't care. I'm positive that when we get the money, and I'm talking about if we were to keep the cat, we'll take him/her to the vet and try to get it's vaccines and get the kitty all set up. So my question really is how should I go about catching it without it hating or being frightened of me forever. I know that some of you might think that it is a bad idea, but I know what "animal control" does when it gets strays. I will simply not stand for it. I want to go on a school trip to Belgium but I might be too homesick? Any tips?

It would take a really long time to get there and we'd have to go on a ferry overnight. I am not very good at being away from home but I don't want to miss out on this opportunity. It's with my history class and we'd be away for six nights. I'm a nervous and private person so I don't know if I'd be able to stay away from home for so long with other people. Does anyone have any good tips about how to overcome fears of going away and just get on with it?

Xbox 360 oblivion, thieves guild, big heist, old way?

I am on the last big heist for the theives guild and cannot get past this one part to complete the mission. I am in the old way at the part where theres a gate and two buttons. It's elvish-looking. I get really confused when a hero of some kind gets the key to the city. Are there locked gates surrounding every major city? What if the recipient decides to break into the city limits and kill everyone?

I wouldn't take him out. Right now he's very confused and he needs it, maybe he doesn't like it because it makes him think about what's happened and he's probably spent a lot of time not thinking about it. He's pretty normal for him to miss his Dad, he doesn't necessarily hate his dad he just hates what his dad did to him. He needs help and taking him out of it isn't going to fix anything, he's just going to bury his feelings.

Animal Crossing Wifi Help City Folk?

My parents aren't taking care of my dog!!?

I'm in college, home for the summer. I'll be gone another year and I have a cavelier king charles spaniel. My parents are new to actually taking care of dogs since they're used to leaving the dog to practically survive on its own outside. They leave my dog outside all day and sometimes at night(in the winter and the summer heat!) because they say she's too dirty(because they refuse to give her a bath or take her to the groomers!). My parents leave the gate open all the time to let her wander around the neigborhood! Then they'll only buy the cheapest dog chow you get at the grocery store. And my dad won't let me have a doggy door installed. It was probably a mistake getting a dog in highschool but it worked when I was at home. I don't want to get rid of her because she's my first dog and it would be like getting rid of my baby,yet I'm constantly worried! What should I do!?

I think I would leave her there, as long as she is safe etc. She will soon get used to the noise around her when you go past. When that happens you can move her to her bed, and she will probably stay there.

Iceland, because as an educated person once I received my degree I might travel to the other countries for business or pleasure. There is much less chance I would go to Iceland someday. It would also provide more interesting stories to tell, as people are less familiar with Iceland.

UK Train Travel in November?

I need to get from manchester to liverpool to holyhead to dublin in november. I was planning to take the rail from manchester (stopping in liverpool) then taking it to holyhead on sunday novmber 4th 2011. then i plan to take the Stena line ferry from Holyhead to Dublin. I think you meant to ask why Adelaide is 30 mins behind Australian Eastern Standard time, rather than the rest of the world? Easy...same reason Sweden is so far behind the Australian time zones: location. Australia is a huge country (Sweden is tiny) and Adelaide is a huge distance from the east coast, it makes more sense for it to be behind in order for the time to fit in when the sun is actually shining in the sky (and when it's not). Western Australia is further behind than Adelaid because of it's location also.

Movie called baby- baby found on front porch?

I remember around 8 years ago watching a movie and if I remember correctly it was simply called "Baby". I must have the wrong name but it was baby something. It was about a little girl baby that was left on the front step of a family. They lived on an island and they take the baby in. It mainly revolves around the mother and her teenage daughter who take in the baby. The birth mother ends up sending letters and stuff and the teenage daughter hides them. Also it shows scenes at her school with her teacher who inspires her. At the end of the movie, the mom comes back and takes the baby back on the ferry with her.
